Landfall is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 686 at the 2010 census and is the smallest community in Washington County in terms of area. It lies on the eastern shore of Tanner's Lake on Interstate 94.
Landfall in Unknown Seas is a work for narrator and string orchestra written by New Zealand composer Douglas Lilburn in 1944. It was the second in Lilburn's early trilogy of works dealing with the theme of New Zealand identity, following the overture Aotearoa and preceding A Song of Islands . The text of the work is taken from a poem by Allen Curnow, and tells the story of the islands' discovery by Abel Tasman.
Darkover Landfall is a science fiction novel in the Darkover series by American writer Marion Zimmer Bradley. It was originally published in 1972 by DAW Books. It has since been republished several times and is included as part of the Darkover: First Contact omnibus. According to Bradley's obituary, the events of this book take place at the end of the 21st century.
