Carlos Pérez Rial, (born 12 April 1979 in Cangas do Morrazo, Pontevedra) nicknamed "Perucho", is a Spanish sprint canoer who has been competing since 1999. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a gold in the K-2 500 m event at Beijing in 2008. Pérez won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with three golds (K-1 200 m: 2005, K-1 4 × 200 m: 2009, 2010) and four silvers (K-1 200 m: 2006, K-1 500 m: 2003, K-2 200 m: 2009, 2010). Perucho is a member of the club. He is 182 cm (6'0") tall and weighs 84 kg (185 lb).

Jorge García (kayaker)
Jorge Antonio García Rodríguez (born January 14, 1988 in Caibarién) is a Cuban sprint canoer who competed in the late 2000s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the semifinals of both the K-1 500 m and the K-1 1000 m events. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the K-1 1000 m, winning the B-final. At the 2016 Olympics, he competed with Reinier Torres in the men's K-2 1000 m.

Gábor Horváth (kayaker)
Gábor Horváth (born November 15, 1971 in Budapest) is a Hungarian sprint canoeist who competed from 1993 to 2006. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won three medals in the K-4 1000 m event with two golds (2000, 2004) and one silver (1996). A member of the Budapest Honvéd FC club, Horváth also had outstanding success at the canoeing World Championships. Horvath is a member of the Budapest Honvéd FC club.

David "Dave" Smith (born 13 February 1987 in Shellharbour) is an Australian sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He won a silver medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Dartmouth. He also won a silver at the 2011 ICF World Championships in Szeged, Hungary in the K-4 1000m, and then a bronze in the same event in 2013.

Michael Tayler
Michael Tayler (born February 6, 1992) is a Canadian slalom canoeist who has competed since 2008. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the K-1 event finishing in 20th place after being eliminated in the heats. He beat former world champion David Ford to earn the Canadian spot at the 2012 Olympics. In July 2016, he was officially named to Canada's Olympic team for the second time. He finished in 16th place in the K1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Tayler is based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Michel Scheuer
Michel Scheuer (20 May 1927 – 31 March 2015) was a West German sprint canoeist, born in Rodange, Luxembourg, who competed in the 1950s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won three medals with a gold (1956: K-2 1000 m) and two bronzes (1952, 1956: K-1 10000 m). Scheuer also won three medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships; two gold (K-4 1000 m and K-4 10000 m: both 1958) and a silver (K-2 1000 m: 1954). Scheuer died at the age of 87 in 2015.

Gunnar Olsson (born April 26, 1960) is a Swedish sprint canoer who competed from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal in the K-2 1000 m event at Barcelona in 1992. Olsson also won a silver medal in the K-2 10000 m event in Copenhagen at the 1993 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships and two bronze medals in the K-4 10000 m event in Poznan 1993 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships and in the K-2 1000 m event in Copenhagen 1993 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships.
