Kamala Ibrahim Ishaq (born 1939) is a Sudanese artist who studied at the College of Fine Arts ( formerly known as the high department of Arts in Khartoum Technical Institute (KTI) ) in Khartoum, Sudan (1963). She pursued her postgraduate at the Royal College of Art in London (1964–1966) and was a founder of a conceptual art group called the "Crystalists" which challenged the traditional practices in the Sudanese art scene. She founded the group with Muhammad Hamid Shaddad and Nayla El Tayib and its intention is to challenge the Khartoum Group and its traditional male outlook. She has been called the first modern woman painter in the Sudan.
Kumari Kamala (born 16 June 1934) is an Indian dancer and actress (also known as Kamala Laxman). Initially featured as a child dancer, Kamala appeared in almost 100 Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films throughout her career. In the 1970s, she became a teacher of the Vazhuvoor style of dance in which she specialises.

James Harris (born May 28, 1950) is an American retired professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Kamala. As Kamala, Harris portrayed a fearsome Ugandan "headhunter " who wrestled barefoot and wearing war paint and a loincloth, and approached the ring wearing an African mask and carrying a spear and shield. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the mid-1980s and early 1990s.

Kesarina Kamala (Kannada: ಕೆಸರಿನ ಕಮಲ, English: Lotus of Mud) is a 1973 Indian Kannada drama movie, directed by R. N. Jayagopal and produced by T. N. Narasimhan. The film stars Kalpana, Shringar Nagaraj and Uma Shivakumar in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Vijaya Bhaskar, who introduced Vani Jairam to Kannada Film Industry through this movie.
