The show airs on Facebook Live and pins two people against each to see who can eat the fastest while raising awareness for charity. Then, a Celebrity Competitive Eater, faced with a handicap, must beat the winning time for a prize to be given to the winning charity. Handicaps may include eating with both hands behind their back, using a knife and fork, two spoons, or even Interval Eating - a process created by Gail Kasper where the celebrity eater is given a specific number of seconds to eat but then must stop for a specific number of seconds (i.e. eat for 20 seconds rest for 40 seconds; eat for 20 seconds, rest for 40 seconds etc.).
