Sir Theophilus Shepstone KCMG (8 January 1817 – 23 June 1893) was a British South African statesman who was responsible for the annexation of the Transvaal to Britain in 1877.

Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Baronet (1612 – 25 March 1683) was the son of Michael Biddulph of Elmhurst, Staffordshire.

Sir Theophilus John Metcalfe, 5th Baronet (1828–1883), also called Theo Metcalfe, was a British Bengal civil servant of the East India Company. He is noted for his part in the 1857 Indian Rebellion, and his vindictive behaviour in the aftermath.
