Among the first concerts held at the newly opened Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri, the nine-show series were Brooks' first multi-concert performances since his 1996–98 world tour.

K.O.D. Tour: Live In Kansas City is a specific concert of the American hip hop artist Tech N9ne, directed by N9ne himself and Liquid 9, recorded on DVD or Blu-ray, part of the K.O.D. Tour, the first recorded after Strictly Strange 08. The concert features label-mates from Tech N9ne's Strange Music, names are Kutt Calhoun, Krizz Kaliko and Big Scoob, alongside DJ Chill.

Newsboys (sometimes stylised as newsboys) are a Christian rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia by Peter Furler and George Perdikis.
