George I of Abkhazia
George I (Georgian: გიორგი I, აღწეფელი) was King of the Abkhazian from circa 864 to 871. He was the third son of Leon II of the Anchabadze dynasty. He succeeded his brother Demetrius II. His nickname "Aghts’epeli" (Georgian: აღწეფელი) is linked to his former domain of Aghtseph.

It operates George I. Sanchez Charter School, also known as George I. Sanchez High School; and George I. Sanchez Charter School North. They are located in the East End and Northside, respectively. As of 2003 the schools cater to students who experienced difficulties at other schools.
