Emil Ludwig (25 January 1881 – 17 September 1948) was a German-Swiss author, known for his biographies and study of historical "greats."

Ludwig Emil Grimm (14 March 1790 – 4 April 1863) was a German painter, art professor, etcher and copper engraver. His brothers were the well-known folklorists, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm.

Emil Ludwig Schmidt (April 7, 1837 – October 22, 1906) was a German anthropologist and ethnologist. He was son-in-law to art historian Johannes Adolph Overbeck (1826–1895).

Emil Martin (born 27 November 1894, date of death unknown) was a German sports shooter. He competed in the 50 m pistol event at the 1936 Summer Olympics.
