David Hanna may refer to:

David Hunter is an American baseball player from Middleton, Massachusetts who plays as a third baseman.

David Hunter (July 21, 1802 – February 2, 1886) was a Union general during the American Civil War. He achieved fame by his unauthorized 1862 order (immediately rescinded) emancipating slaves in three Southern states, for his leadership of United States troops during the Valley Campaigns of 1864, and as the president of the military commission trying the conspirators involved with the assassination of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln.

David Halpern (born August 18, 1955) is an American sprint kayaker who competed in the mid-1980s. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he placed tenth K-2 500 m. During his competitive career he won over 50 medals in U.S. Nationals competition. After retiring from international competition, he earned his keep as a writer and cartoonist. Currently he works as a Ranger for Washington State Parks.
