Charles Haslewood Shannon RA (26 April 1863 – 18 March 1937) was an English artist. He became best known for his portraits, which can be found in several major European collections, including the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Charles Matthew Egerton Hazlewood (born 14 November 1966) is a British conductor and advocate for a wider audience for orchestral music. After winning the European Broadcasting Union conducting competition in his twenties, Hazlewood has had a career as an international conductor, music director of film and theatre, composer and a curator of music on British radio and television.
